Maximum Ride is a series about a girl named Max. Max and her 'flock' containing characters Angel, the Gasman, Nudge, Iggy, and Fang, all have wings. In the first book, The Angel Experiment, Angel gets kidnapped and is taken away to a place called the School. Max and the rest of the flock set out on a mission to rescue Angel. This series is by James Patterson and is a science fiction novel.
